Migrant workers information pack

Penwith Housing Association (PHA) has been working with Cornwall Strategic Partnership (CSP) on the launch of the Migrant Workers Welcome Pack.

In recognition of the increased number of migrant workers who have moved to Cornwall in the past two years, the strategic partnership has produced a welcome pack so that those new to the county have an easy reference point to information and services. The CSP is a partnership which includes members from local authorities, local strategic partnerships, the voluntary, community and private sector.

Andy Moore, PHA Chief Executive is a member of the partnership representing West Cornwall Together, the local strategic partnership for Penwith and Kerrier areas of Cornwall. According to Andy the pack is "an invaluable resource that shows the benefit of partnership working. In the past this kind of initiative would have been virtually impossible. The CSP has combined the input from so many different organisation who provide advice and services to those seeking work in Cornwall coming from other European Countries to produce a useful handbook in a variety of languages".
